Uremia

Azotemia. A toxic condition resulting from kidney disease in which there is retention of waste products (nitrogenous substances) in the bloodstream that are normally excreted in the urine. Characterized by nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, poor vision, coma, convulsions, urinous odor of breath and perspiration, stupor, snoring respiration, dry skin, rapid pulse, hypertension and albuminuria.
